Shepherd’s Hut
A unique way to stay.
Stay on our traditional 1,400-acre working family farm.
Dolly is the original Shepherds Hut converted by Sue’s husband Nick. It is the next step from camping with the bare essentials, to stay a few days you will need to sort out cooking arrangements. It has a small double bed a little wood burner(not suitable for cooking) and a drop down table with two chairs to eat in if it’s cold. On a cosy night in front of the fire there are dominoes and a couple of other games.
An outside table is supplied and sole use of one of our individual toilet cabins with a shower, WC and wash/wash basin.
Fully Restored Hut
Used to be regularly inhabited on the farm during lambing times
A comfortable double bed and a warm log burner to while away the evening playing dominoes or other traditional games supplied.
Beautiful Surroundings
Quiet site in the South Downs National Park
Sheep sometimes take up residence next door to the pitching field, and guests are welcome to watch the harvest being brought in from the crop fields if they’re staying at the right time.
Ease of Access
Only 20 minute drive to Winchester
With Clanfield’s village shops 4 miles away, larger Petersfield 5 miles away, and A3 a 10-minute drive for more extensive jaunts into the Hampshire countryside or over to Winchester & Portsmouth.

Dolly is in for major repairs and will be out of use until Nick is able to renovate her.

New Campsite Facilities
We have super new individual unit per pitch modern camping facilities on-site: one clean flushing loo, one hot showers and washing up / basin facilities for sole use.
These will be maintained and cleaned regularly to the COVID-19 secure standard before your arrival and following your departure.
Amenities Information
Sheets can be supplied at an extra cost and must be added when booking, no late availability for this.
There is also the option to buy firewood and a small amount of kindling. Plus fire lighters. These are also extras that can be added at booking.

Deposits: 40%
Check-In Information
Arrivals: Mon – Sat only, from 12:00pm to 7:00pm
Departure: Please vacate your pitch by 11.30am
