Welcome to Upper Parsonage Farm. It is a new farmhouse on part of our 1400 acre family farm, owned and farmed by the family since they came down from Cumbria in 1904. It is a mixed traditional farm of 500 Sheep which are on the South Downs with 50 beef cattle, all of which produce progeny in the spring. There are 700 acres of arable land which produces barley, wheat, oats and rape seed oil.
In addition to the farming and part of our diversification projects we now operate a bed and breakfast, wedding receptions and conferences in our beautifully thatched barn and camping on our well maintained mown gardens.
It is situated in the heart of the Meon Valley in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with panoramic rural views and tranquillity. The farmhouse is nestled behind Butser Hill equal distance from Portsmouth, Chichester and Winchester (20 mins). It is easily accessible from all major transport links by rail or road (A3M). Sue Atkinson offers friendly, extremely comfortable and well equipped accommodation with attention to detail.
