The Thatched Barn
We have a 17th Century, striking thatched barn that is a superb venue that can host weddings receptions, parties and conferences.
The barn has been sympathetically restored by Sue and Nick who even thatched himself. It has a very rural atmosphere with original oak beams, exposed thatch and coir matting flooring. Twinkly fairy lights adorn the beams and other extras such as fake wax candles and Cath Kidson bunting.
The barn can comfortably sit 120 with banquet style seating and round tables. There is a large stage area for a band, disco or presentations with a dance floor in front. When hiring the barn we can recommend a variety of suppliers or offer a complete planning and catering service, tailored to your individual requirements.
There is ample parking in the field adjacent to the barn from which you are able to walk through the tree lined pathway.
A well equipped kitchen and toilet facility are adjacent to the barn.
The barn is exclusively yours for the whole day and we are happy for set up the day before and you are able to come in the day after for clearing up.
It is set in picturesque valley with well tended gardens ideal for photos.
The barn is available during the months of April - September inclusive and an efficient heater is supplied included in the price. There are a limited number of function dates during the year but it is not restricted to weekends.
