Cream Teas

Our recently refurbished 200year old oak beamed thatched barn provides and excellent location for cream teas on an afternoon in spring through to late summer. Harvesting Cream Teas will open on 21st March 2008 for the whole of the weekend including bank holiday for an early Easter treat. A quaint English tea house renowned for it's quality and service is set in a delightful rural setting just off the South Downs Way. There is ample space for one to sit inside or out depending on the weather.

We also sell a few greetings cards, paper and tags with some homemade jams, chutneys and local honey along with some locally produced lavender products. Do check our website for future events or contact Sue and she will be able to help.

This year we will only be open on Sundays throughout the season (April-Sept) and whole weekends over the bank holidays but we will be open from 10.30am in order to provide coffee's and homemade cake and light refreshments. There will as usual be the option of cream tea and cakes from 2.00pm. The rest of the week will be reserved for larger parties with a minimum of 35 people and a maximum of a full large coach (60) for teas or light lunches.

There are ample parking facilities with a slide and climbing frame for children Traditionally we are farmers there are usually some lambs and cows with calves in the nearby field. There are also some geese and chicken to look at. Winchester Cathedral, King Alfred, King Arthur's Round Table and lntech Southampton is within half an hour drive.
